ELIGIBILITY AND FEATURES
- All Regular Members with an in-force MBAI Protek, in good credit standing, and with payroll deduction arrangement.
- All Retired Regular Members with in-force MBAI iProtek, in good credit standing, already receiving their monthly pension, and with pension deduction arrangement.
- All Associate Members with an in-force MBAI iProtek, in good credit standing, and with salary/commission deduction arrangement.
- Member-borrower must have experienced an emergency, such as, but not limited to the following:
1. Medical emergency
2. Bereavement-related emergency
3. Personal and real estate property-related emergency
4. State of Calamity
5. State of Emergency - Maximum loanable amount: P75,000.00
- Payment term: Up to 36 months
- Lowest interest rate of 5.0% p.a.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Signed Loan Application with Authority to Deduct Form
- Copy of Service ID, National ID, or AFPMBAI ID
In case the above-mentioned IDs are not available, copy of two (2) government-issued IDs with specimen signatures - Copy of one (1) month latest payslip
- Copy of LBP ATM (front only), optional, in case of e-bank disbursement.
- Proof of evidence to support emergency loan application
Medical emergency -- recent hospital bills within 3 months from the date of the receipt. Medical emergencies cover hospital confinements, including outpatient cases of the member and/or immediate family member, provided these are related to accidents, injuries, or sudden illness. However, self-inflicted injuries, provoked assault, and those related to alcohol/drug abuse are not covered.
Bereavement-related emergency – death certificate of immediate family member. The date of death should be within three (3) months prior to the loan application.
Personal and real estate property-related emergency – house caught fire, vehicular accident/breakdown, loss of personal property, damage to agricultural crops, etc.
Documentary requirements are as follows:
- Pictures/videos of the damaged property,
- Spot/police/incident report or traffic accident report, and/or
- Barangay certification
The report date shall be within three (3) months prior to the loan application.
State of Calamity/Emergency – official declaration of a state of calamity, public health emergency, or emergency, either local or national declaration (Location must correspond either to the members’ declared permanent/current address in membership information, service ID, or current location of assignment).
