Nasa 25 to 60 pesos lamang po ang inyong monthly contribution until 2009 (under Old Basic Insurance), tapos tumaas po ito sa halagang 0.5% (for AFP) o 1.5% (for DILG- and DOTR-attached agencies) of base pay simula 2010 (under the new basic insurance) hanggang sa kasalukuyan na uniform 1.5% of base pay for all members.

Ayon sa batas (Insurance Code), kailangan pong ibalik ng AFPMBAI sa inyo ang kalahati (50%) ng lahat ng inyong basic insurance monthly contributions, plus interest.

Titingnan din po ng processor kung meron pa kayong outstanding policy dividends, 20% bonuses, o maturity benefit sa permanent/optional insurance plans na kinuha ninyo sa AFPMBAI (MBAI ADDL deduction code).
