Please file for your Termination Benefit at makukuha niyo na po ang inyong Member’s Equity Fund na galing sa MBAI PROTEK o AFP MBA P deduction ninyo while in the active service.

Titingnan din po ng processor kung meron pa kayong outstanding policy dividends, 20% bonuses, o maturity benefit sa permanent/optional insurance plans na kinuha ninyo sa AFPMBAI (MBAI ADDL deduction code).

In compliance with the law (The Insurance Code, R.A. 10607), ibinabalik po ng AFPMBAI sa inyo ang kalahati (50%) ng lahat ng inyong basic membership insurance monthly contributions, plus interest. This is the Member’s Equity Fund.

For info, nasa 25 to 60 pesos lamang po ang inyong monthly contributions for Basic Insurance from the 1980s up to December 2009 (under Old Basic Insurance). 

Simula January 2010, tumaas po ang inyong monthly contribution sa halagang 0.5% (for AFP) at 1.5% (for DILG- and DOTR-attached agencies), under the new MBAI Protek.

Starting January 2024 naman, uniform 1.5% of base pay na po ang monthly contribution for ALL AFPMBAI regular members.

Ang 1.5% of base pay ay equivalent to P292.74 up to P547.49 for Enlisted Personnel (please see Table of Monthly Contributions for MBAI Protek Basic Membership Insurance below under the 2026 new base pay).
