Sino ang AFPMBAI?

AFPMBAI is an organized mutual benefit association that provides security, protection and meaningful financial solutions for the uniformed services of the Philippines and their families.

Members hail from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, the Philippine Coast Guard, the Bureau of Corrections, and other uniformed services units. It currently has more than 300,000 regular members and 100,000 associate members.

Simula pa noong 1949 kung kailan nag-umpisa ito bilang abuluyan system, ang AFPMBAI ay binuo ng mga AFP members mismo upang mabigyan ng proteksyon at sapat na coverage ang mga sundalo. Nang tinanggal sa GSIS ang mga sundalo at kapulisan noong 1997, mas pinabuti at pinaayos pa ng AFPMBAI ang insurance benefits, financial assistance, at loan privileges ng mga miyembro nito.

Ito na ang sumagot sa life insurance protection, killed-in-action, accidental death, permanent disability, dismemberment, at burial cash benefits ng mga MUPs dahil sa MBAI Protek Basic Membership Insurance Plan nito na may 1.5% of base pay monthly contribution lamang.
